The base of this bar is our house-made Uganda 72%—a clean, focused formula of cacao beans, cacao butter, and sugar. It opens with the sweetness of ripe banana bread, followed by a bright hint of orange acidity, and finishes with a gentle cinnamon warmth.

For this edition, we pair it with sea salt from Yim Tin Tsai, a tiny island in Sai Kung once known for its hand-harvested salt pans. The process is slow and weather-bound: seawater gathered, sunlight invited, ten-plus days of waiting until only delicate crystals remain. Small in yield, rich in character.

This salt is gentle, carrying the scent of sea breeze, a hint of minerality, and a clean, savory lift. Sprinkled over the Ugandan cacao, it sharpens the sweetness, rounds the texture, and adds a light yet resonant depth to each bite.

A bar designed for pause moments. Pair with sparkling water or cold-brew tea, and let that subtle salinity remind you that sometimes life needs a little salt to taste right.
